Tallink Grupp suspends operations of passenger vessels on the Tallinn-Stockholm route from Sunday, 15 March

Tallink Grupp has announced that due to the state of emergency declared in Estonia and in order to ensure the health and safety of people around the Baltic Sea, the company will suspend operating the Tallinn-Stockholm route passenger vessels Baltic Queen and Victoria I from Sunday, 15 March 2020 until further notice.

On Saturday, 14 March Baltic Queen will depart from Stockholm according to schedule. All departures from 15 March 2020 onwards are cancelled until further notice. On Saturday, 14 March only passengers with one way tickets and those passengers who started a cruise on Baltic Queen from Tallinn on Friday, 13 March, will be able to travel back to Tallinn on the vessel.  From Sunday, 15 March, Baltic Queen will remain in port in Tallinn until the company decides to restore passenger ferry operations between Tallinn and Stockholm.

On Saturday, 14 March Victoria I willv depart from Tallinn according to schedule. On Saturday, 14 March only passengers with one way tickets and those passengers who started a cruise on Victoria I from Stockholm on Friday, 13 March, will be able to travel back to Stockholm on the vessel.

From Stockholm, only passengers with a one way ticket will be allowed to travel on the vessel to Tallinn. Upon arrival to Tallinn also Victoria I will remain in port in Tallinn until the company decides to restore passenger ferry operations between Tallinn and Stockholm.

The company’s vessel Regal Star, operating on the Paldiski-Kapellskär route, will continue to operate between Estonia and Sweden to guarantee transport of goods. The vessel will operate according to a non-fixed schedule.

Customers who have bookings for Baltic Queen departures after 15 March 2020, are asked to contact the company’s customer services to change their booking.

The traffic will resume after risk areas change.

Tallink Silja will contact customers affected by the changes as soon as possible.
