On 4th of December Estonian Railways held an information session for CCS construction procurement

In the following five years, the CCS will be upgraded along five sections at nearly 50 stations within the AS Eesti Raudtee infrastructure.

In order to take the new systems into use it is planned to carry out separate construction procurement, in the scope are following main works:

  1. CCS and traffic operators modular buildings manufacturing and installation
  2. cable routes design and construction
  3. signal and cabinet bases installation
  4. point machines, drossel trasformators installation

During the session, interested parties of the procurements were given an overview of AS Eesti Raudtee infrastructure, the scope and concept of the CCS construction procurement, and the tender process. The session was recorded and can be found alongside the presentation HERE

AS Eesti Raudtee thanks all the participants and is looking forward to work together in the future.

As mentioned procurement is a very large-scale project, the tenderers may want to manage the project workload, and therefore submit joint tenders or otherwise rely on each other's competences. To make it possible to cooperate, AS Eesti Raudtee will be opening a platform for networking. The platform with instructions can be found HERE.
