TRANSESTONIA 2011: Transatlantic Horseshoe
The 7-th Annual Transit Conferene TRANSESTONIA 2011 takes place on October 26, 2011 in Swissotel Tallinn, Estonia
The Transatlantic Horseshoe is a fast and reliable intermodal transport corridor connecting main industrial areas and DCs in Northern America with Russia, CIS, Central Asia, Afghanistan and Northern China. The name Transatlantic Horseshoe comes from the horseshoe shape of the transport corridor when drawn on a map. Gateways of this transport corridor are Port of Halifax and Port of Tallinn. Role of the Port of Hamburg is to act as the European hub. At the conference will be discussed in detail, what makes the Transatlantic Horseshoe as competitive as it is.
