Liwathon Group Acquires Super Terminal in The Bahamas

Liwathon Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Equinor South Riding Point LLC (renamed Liwathon B.O.S. LLC), a leading energy terminal in The Bahamas, Grand Bahama.

Liwathon B.O.S. has a facility comprising of ten large storage tanks with a capacity of 6.8 million barrels (1,100,000 cbm). It includes a Sea Island that facilitates the safe berthing of different sized oil tankers up to VLCC. The terminal offers the group and its customers opportunities for storage and transhipment from LATAM and North America.

The terminal will have a phased launch in 2023 as part of a $100 million relaunch.

Liwathon Group also owns Liwathon E.O.S., the largest independent oil products terminal operator in the Baltic region, operating four terminals – Termoil, Trendgate, Pakterminal and Stivterminal – with a total storage capacity of 6.62 million barrels (1,051,800 cbm).
