Estonian companies participated at TransKazakhstan 2022

Estonian transport and logistics companies were present at the leading Central-Asian transportation exhibition TransKazakhstan held from 20th to 22nd of September in Almatõ, Kazakhstan.

The following companies were represented with the national stand: Port of Tallinn, Port of Sillamäe, HHLA TK Estonia, Silsteve, Estonian Railways, Operail, CF&S, Intopex Forwarding, GRS Marine and Woodyscovery.

Over the last 25 years, TransKazakhstan has brought together the leading transport and logistics companies from the region and has become one of the most important places for the decision-makers to meet. On behalf of the Estonian ambassador Toomas Tirsa, business meetings with the companies from Kazakhstan and elsewhere were conducted and Estonian geographical advantages introduced. One of the most important topics was the New Silkroad from Asia, through Kazakhstan to Scandinavia.

2022 was a record-breaking year as there were more than 160 comapnies from 12 countries represented, including Germany, China, Kõrgõzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and many others.

The National Stand of Estonia at TransLogistica Kazakhstan as in previous years is supported by EAS from the funds of the European Fund of Regional Development.
