Logistics entrepreneurs signed memorandums of understanding in China
Estonian logistics entrepreneurs signed memorandums of understanding with Xiamen and Fuijan Logistics Associations and Fuzhou Ports Association in China today. The aim of the MOUs is to develop and improve the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of logistics, transportation and transit.
Mr. Ke Dong, Vice President of the Xiamen Logistics Association as well as Mr. Li Xinhu, President of the Fuijan Logistics Association affirmed associations’ members’ interest in cooperation with Estonian logistics enterprises. As indicated by Mr. Andres Valgerist, Chairman of the Management Board of Estonian Logistics and Transit Association, the signing of memorandums signifies an actual step towards promising co-operation.
“Logistics Cluster submitted an official invitation to the Fuijan and Xiamen Logistics Associations to visit Estonia, so we would be able to give the interested parties an overview of our products, services and options available at the location,” Mr. Valgerist elaborated.
The signing of the MOUs was followed by Business Forum, organised by the Estonian Logistics Cluster and the Fuzhou Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation Bureau, where the Estonian business environment and logistics sector were introduced by Mr. Toomas Haidak, Head of the Transport Development Department of the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.
