Logisticians presented themselves to investors in Singapore

The Estonian Logistics Cluster delegation, accompanying the Prime Minister of Estonia Mr. Andrus Ansip, showcased Estonia’s favourable geographic location as well highly developed infrastructure for the transit of goods at the business forum in Singapore that had 175 potential investors registered as participants.

The Prime Minister Andrus Ansip together with a prominent business delegation presented Estonia’s business climate in Singapore, and at the meetings with the Prime Minister of Sinpapore, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong and the Minister of State for Trade and Industry Teo Ser Luck as well as at the business forum invited the entrepreneurs to take advantage of the beneficial investment opportunities available in Estonia.

“Estonia and Singapore are known for their favourable business climates and high rankings in the lists of economic freedom indices, and personal connections between the heads of the governments create a sense of security required for the development of business cooperation and investments,” the Prime Minister Ansip stated, while adding, that one does not have to look too far for prime examples.

The business delegation accompanying the Prime Minister of Estonia comprised of the representatives from fourteen companies as well as the delegates from the Estonian Logistics Cluster, the Estonian Logistics and Transit Association, Estonian Development Fund, Enterprise Estonia, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Estonia, all looking to establish ties with the companies in Singapore.
