LTA Membership Growing

Estonian Logistics and Transit Association (LTA) has gained four new partners. At the LTA general assembly held in the beginning of December, EVR Cargo, Alekon Cargo, RRK and Baltic Rail were unanimously accepted as members of LTA.

As stated by Mr. Andres Valgerist, the chairman of the management board of LTA, the partnership with the new members has been successful for a few past years already, ever since founding the Estonian Logistics Cluster together. “In order to continue the Cluster initiatives, many partners of the Cluster have decided to become the members of LTA", Mr. Valgerist explained.

Mr. Valgerist assures that all the joint worldwide promotion activities as well as representation of common interests in liaising with national and local government agencies and institutions and other organisations are continued.

“Visiting international fairs and exhibitions and taking study trips together has enabled us to improve our prominence and to become an important partner for the public sector. Therefore we shouldn't let these activities slide when the funding period of the Cluster expires and we should continue these as LTA", Mr. Valgerist elaborated.

In the beginning of November, CF&S Estonia became a member of LTA, aspiring to contribute to the LTA cooperation with the public sector in order to help to generate an adequate view of the current business situation and therefore promote the developments in the logistics sector.
